This had such a good premise but at the end of the day, half the actors can't act, some of the characters are fucking annoying as hell - Kuan was such a thorn in my side, I almost debated skipping through any scene with her in ; interesting character but done so wrong. I only really cared about Ines and the myth. Past that... a massive skip. Underwhelming, boring, ruined by the actors themselves, and it's a shame, because this could have been stellar. Easily the second most boring film I've watched so far in 2023. It doesn't drag, however, and the director got that done well; it all flows very well, it's just a case of the subject was boring. Alos was that queer bait or platonic friendship allo aro/ace because what the frick was all that? Last 20 minutes were the most exciting of the entire film.
