So brother "Edwin" is peacefully laid to rest by twin "Lloyd", only - well, that's what he thinks - and when his brother returns to seeks vengeance on him and his family we have a good old fashioned battle of good versus evil. George Zucco plays the twins and as usual, keeps the plot moving along in quite an eery fashion as the locals start to turn up mysteriously dead and the villagers start to suspect our good "Edwin" It's been lit with half a dozen candles, which in this case actually helps create extra atmosphere but the ending reverts to type and is really quite disappointing. It's only an hour and is, frankly, no worse than many of the other contemporaneous Vampire/horror films made during WWII.
